Using the website

By using Tools by Layna, you agree to use the calculators, guides, charts, downloads and workbooks lawfully and for their intended purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass download controls, extract personal information, introduce malicious code or use the site to mislead another person.

Calculators and general information

Calculator outputs are estimates based on the information entered and the assumptions explained on the relevant page. They are not guarantees, quotes, tax rulings, medical diagnoses, employment determinations, lending approvals or personalised financial advice.

You remain responsible for checking inputs, current official rules and whether professional advice is needed before acting. Rates, laws, government programs, lender policies and health guidance can change.

Digital workbook purchases

Digital products are supplied as described on the product page and in the Digital Download, Licence and Refund Policy. Checkout is processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless clearly stated otherwise.

The purchase licence permits the buyer to use the files for the stated personal, household or internal-business purpose. It does not permit resale, public redistribution, uploading to template marketplaces or representing the workbook as the buyer’s own product.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms or the digital-download policy excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. A change-of-mind restriction does not remove rights relating to a major problem, a product that does not match its description or another failure to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

Third-party services and links

The site links to Stripe, government sources, regulators and other external services. Tools by Layna does not control their availability, security, content or terms. A link is provided for context and does not automatically endorse every statement or product on the destination site.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the site design, original text, calculator implementation, downloadable resources and digital workbooks are owned by or licensed to Tools by Layna. You may use calculator results for ordinary personal or internal-business purposes. You may not copy substantial parts of the site, republish articles at scale or sell the files without written permission.

Availability and changes

The site may be corrected, updated, suspended or changed without notice. Tools by Layna does not promise uninterrupted access or that every browser, spreadsheet application or third-party service will behave identically.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tools by Layna is not responsible for loss caused by incorrect inputs, reliance beyond the stated purpose, outdated third-party information, unsupported software, failure to obtain professional advice or events outside reasonable control. Any liability that cannot be excluded remains subject to applicable law.
